Pueriki is a rarer cultivar of kava renowned for its euphoric and uplifting, socially enjoyable effects. Paired with organic Cinnamon, Cloves, and concentrated banana juice, this kava makes for an easy sipping, deliciously relaxing kava option. Sweetened with organic Jaggery, you may notice hints of molasses and caramel. This is one of our stronger kava cultivars that we have been able to access, and it makes for a really great social kava. Bananas Foster Pueriki has an earthy pepperiness that is countered nicely by the sweetness of Banana and Jaggery.

BREWERS NOTES: This kava was born at Karuna Kava Bar, playing with different flavors and experimenting with the Pueriki. This is an amazing kava that we are lucky to have access to. This cultivar was decimated by Hurricane Pam, which had lasting impacts on the Island of Tongoa, Vanuatu. I love this kava for its instant euphoric head change and socially enjoyable effects. I call this a very chatty kava, as it it produces great conversation amongst friends and strangers alike. We love to drink this kava at Karuna Kava Bar, as it sets a great vibe for a fun time! This also happens to be one of our more delicious kava options; the banana, cinnamon, cloves and jaggery come together quite nicely, and the Coconut Milk Powder adds a layer of creaminess that is delightful.
