BREWERS NOTES: I have been waiting to work with this variety of fresh green Hawaiian ‘Awa for years, and consider myself very lucky to finally have some to share with everyone. This is delightfully uplifting yet calming, delicious, and light. Such an easy drinking kava, with complex flavors that work incredibly well. This variety of kava was thought to be extinct for a period of time, but an ancient kava patch was found in the Hanakapi’ai Valley in Hawaii which has led to the resurgence of this Noble kava variety. This one is hard to find, and special to have. This is sure to be a favorite.
